What type of meals do you offer?
Our freeze-dried meals are fully cooked and seasoned making them ready to consume right out of the bag. We do not use any extra additives, preservatives, or dyes in our freeze-dried meals. My Hunny’s Kitchen is focused on high-quality, delicious meals that are lightweight, easy to prepare and convenient for any emergency or outdoors situation. Our meals will keep for 20-25 years if stored properly, making them perfect for food storage or outdoor excursions.
How do you prepare My Hunny’s Kitchen Meals?
My Hunny’s Kitchen meals are pre-cooked, so all the flavor and seasonings are in place for your enjoyment. To prepare your meal, open the meal pouch, remove O2 packet, add the correct amount of boiling water listing in the instructions on the back of each meal pouch, seal the pouch back up using the resealable profile. Let set for 15-20 minutes and shake occasionally to be sure that the water is reaching all parts of the meal. After the time has elapsed, open the package, stir up the contents and enjoy. Add more water if needed. Always use proper precautions when handling hot items.
Novelty items such as our candies, ice creams, and snacks have no need to be reconstituted. Those are ready to enjoy when you open the package.
What is the shelf life?
My Hunny’s Kitchen meals shelf life does vary from 20-25 years depending on the fat content of each item (example: our Mac & Cheese Meal, would have the 20-year shelf life because we use real cheese and dairy. Other items such as our Red Neck Rice and Beans Meal would last the full 25 years and retain the same great flavor.)
Novelty items have different shelf life as well they will be good for 2 years.
How do I store My Hunny’s Kitchen items?
Store unopened My Hunny’s Kitchen food under dry, sanitary conditions, without prolonged exposure to temperatures above 75˚F (24˚C). Follow these storage tips and you will have tasty food on your next adventure, any emergency, or anytime you need a quick meal without long prep time.
After opening the package, we recommend that you use the food within 2 days, treat any leftover food as you would with fresh food. This is real food, with no extra preservatives.
How do I check the status of my order?
After you order an email will be sent to you with the order tracking number. Customers can also email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will answer you as fast as we can.
Will my personal information be sold to mailing lists?
Absolutely not. Any information about our customers is a very important part of our business. We value trust and honesty at My Hunny’s kitchen. The only information that we have is what you provide, that information is only used to get your order to you. We are not in the business of selling anything but our delicious freeze-dried foods.
When can I expect to receive my order once I have placed the order?
All orders placed on our website Monday-Friday, excluding holidays, will be shipped within 2 to 3 business days.
All orders will be shipped via FedEx Ground, UPS Ground, or USPS Ground. (We do try to get your package to you as fast as we can,) your order should arrive 3-7 days once it has been shipped.
Please note at times shipments may be delayed due to inclement weather, holidays, or an increased volume of orders.
