I'm just going to give it to you straight. Re-hydrated biscuits and gravy is one of the few freeze dried meals that does not look delicious. When you mix pork sausage, flaky biscuits, and thick gravy together in a bag and add boiling water, it tends to end up looking a bit like lumpy concrete.
On the flip side, what freeze-dried biscuits and gravy lacks in looks, it makes up for with flavor. You can enjoy a taste of southern country comfort food that'll have you happy as a clam and saying "bless your heart" to your friends and neighbors.
While Freeze Dried Biscuits and gravy won't be winning any beauty pageants, it will leave you full as a tick and satisfied as a pig in the mud.

I love the freshness of the biscuits and the flavor of the sausage. I believe the gravy will be too peppery for most people. I was able to add a slight amount of warm milk to dilute to my taste. Overall I liked it as I do like stronger seasonings.
My nose is running as I am typing this. 😂 I took a bite of one of the big and juicy pieces of sausage and it has a bit of a kick to it. Made my nose run. So here are the pros and cons. The pros are that it's delicious. Definitely has spice/pepper and the sausage rehydrated very well which is a problem with most of the biscuits and gravy pouches I have tried. It's a great price for what you get. I would definitely recommend this.
The only cons are that I felt it was a little saltier than I normally eat. But if you're sweating a lot in a backpacking situation you'll need the extra salt intake. Also if you are in a higher altitude then I am you need that salt because your taste buds change. The other con is I would like to see these in shorter mylar packages. Unless you have a very long spoon, you're going to have to cut it in half to be able to eat it without your hand getting dirty. Not a biggie if you have a knife on hand. Overall this is another home run. Girl, you know how to cook!

It had good flavor better than some of your competitors. Surprised my Son liked it since he's picky on certain foods. Will be ordering more of the Biscuits and Gravy as well as other varieties.
